Workplace Wellbeing

1. Developing a workplace wellbeing programme
I support organisations to develop impactful and self-sustaining workplace wellbeing programmes. I can assess the wellbeing of your employees, help you prioritise interventions, develop interventions, and assess the impact of your programme. I co-produce programmes with a group who are experts within your organisation. If you don’t have a health and wellbeing taskforce in place yet, I can help you to find the right people.

2. Training
Whether you are looking to raise awareness of mental health within your organisation, up-skill your line managers or peer supporters, or make sure your organisation is set up to support staff who may be exposed to trauma during their work, get in touch.

3. Consultation
I offer consultation to help you steer your organisation through change and challenging events. I can support with:
  • Crisis response and staff support for major events and serious incidents
  • Mental health / wellbeing policy review and development
  • Setting up a peer support programme
  • Sensitive case troubleshooting (employment tribunal and disciplinary case mental health advice; Occupational Health (OH) and return to work dispute cases etc).
4. Webinars, podcasts & events
Online and in-person corporate events are a great opportunity to show employees your commitment to their health and wellbeing. I provide content on a range of topics, from managing stress, work-life balance, managing trauma, and much more.
5. Work-based mental health support
Do your stressed employees go to one-to-one therapy but the problem remains unresolved? Do employees feel better for a while, but you’ve noticed the results are short-lived?

I provide a work-based mental health intervention, usually working with line managers and employees to tackle problems within context, for lasting results.

"We had lots of uncoordinated initiatives that weren’t hitting the root cause of employee ill-health. Michelle carefully assessed the problem, got the right people on board, and came up with a plan we knew was based on science. She worked alongside MDs and frontline staff to embed solutions, transforming how we support our people in the rail industry."

John Halsall, MD, Network Rail
